Ruben Amorim will go in search of his first win as Manchester United manager when they host Bodo/Glimt tomorrow night.
Amorim’s debut game in charge ended in a 1-1 draw at Ipswich on Sunday despite Marcus Rashford putting his side in front inside two minutes.
The Portuguese said afterwards his players had “overthought” what had been asked of them and it will be interesting to see if there is greater clarity after a few more days’ training.
United are unbeaten in the Europa League this season albeit their sole win came under interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy, a 2-0 victory over PAOK courtesy of two goals from Amad Diallo.
Bodo/Glimt, who will be backed by 6,000 fans at Old Trafford, will pose a test with the Norwegian side leading their domestic league although their recent form has not been particularly impressive.
The weekend win over Odd was their first in five in all competitions. They have won two of four in the Europa League.
