All Blacks to tackle Les Bleus in USA?

New Zealand Rugby is reportedly in talks to move one of the All Blacks’ home Tests against France in July 2025 to the United States.

According to The New Zealand Herald, the potential shift would see the fixture as part of a double-header featuring England and the USA Eagles. England, eyeing their first US match in 24 years, would then travel to Argentina for a two-Test series.

This development comes as France plans to send an understrength squad for the tour, with Top 14 finalists excluded from selection. French media outlet L’Equipe reported that the French Rugby Federation is awaiting a formal proposal from USA Rugby.

NZR stated they are finalising an “exciting 2025 domestic Test schedule” for the All Blacks and Black Ferns, with details to be shared in December. The US, gearing up to host the 2031 Rugby World Cup, is pushing for high-profile Tests to boost rugby’s profile stateside.

The All Blacks have played in the US on several occasions, most recently against the USA Eagles in Washington in 2021.

Additionally, Scotland may face the Maori All Blacks in a midweek fixture during their Pacific Islands tour.
