The rugby world has rallied around the loved ones of former England rugby union international Tom Voyce, who is feared dead after Storm Darragh flood.
Voyce, 43 was said to have tried to cross a flood-swollen river in his car, when he was believed to be swept away by the current.
A police search has been ongoing since Sunday afternoon when the nine-time England international didn’t return home following an evening with his friends.
The search has included specialist officers from the force’s Marine Section, the National Police Air Service, drones and dog handlers.
Officers have since recovered the car, but Mr Voyce who has been missing since Saturday, is yet to be located.
In light of the tragedy his wife Anna and his family expressed their gratitude for all the help and support they have received from police, friends and the local community as they continue their search for the former rugby star.

Is Tom Voyce married?
The former England rugby star is married to Anna Voyce (née Wood), the couple tied the knot back in September 2015.
The couple who first revealed their relationship the year prior on social media got married at Babington House, a Georgian manor located in the heart of Somerset in South West England.
The pair live on the edge of Alnwick, Northumberland, England, with their home located just 15 minutes from the beach which is ideal for the outdoorsy loving pair.
‘We spend a lot of time on the beach especially in the summer months. We love Scotts of Alnmouth for a post walk coffee or hot chocolate’ she told Paton and Co.
Who is Anna Voyce?
Anna Voyce is an entrepreneur and the wife of former England rugby international Tom Voyce.
She is the founder of OSSKI home, an online homeware store which she launched in August 2021 after she left the sporting industry following a 16-year-long career.
Voyce started out her professional career in Sky Sports as a production assistant in 2005 after she completed a BA honours degree in Sports Marketing and management from Northumbria University.
She spent two years with the sport’s broadcasters before making a move into the sports marketing world.

Speaking to Living North in April 2022, Voyce opened up on her 16-year long career in the sport’s realm revealing her highlight in the industry was ‘was definitely celebrating the 2013 [British and Irish Lions] victory in Australia with Daniel Craig’.
‘I worked in the sports industry for 16 years, starting my career at Sky Sports in TV production and then moving to work in the sports marketing world,’ she told Living North.
‘I was lucky to travel the world, work with amazing global brands and help deliver and experience some incredible global events.
‘My clients were as diverse as Veuve Clicquot, Tag Heuer, Volkswagon and my main client of 12 years was the British & Irish Lions rugby team.
‘I toured with them three times, heading up the commercial operations team, I looked after all sponsor relations, the Lions brand and oversaw all events, so the role was very diverse and hands on’ she added.

Does Tom Voyce have children?
Tom and Anna welcomed the birth of their first and only child, a son named Oscar back in 2018.
Anna revealed back in 2022 that her ‘main priority’ was looking after her son above all else.
‘When I launched OSSKI I set it up with the aim of still being an at-home Mum so I do as much as I can while he is at pre-school and in the evenings.’ she told Living North.
‘It is a challenge as I am used to working long hours in a team, and it has been strange adapting to being a one-man band without set hours, but it does have its benefits too – like squeezing in a dog walk on the beach after school drop-off.’
The couple enjoy spending quality time with Oscar, with Anna revealing to Paton and Co that ‘Oscar has a pony so we enjoy walks with him riding his pony and with our little Norfolk terrier leading the way.’
