Relive Jean-Luc du Plessis’ game-winning try before the final hooter in a riveting Vodacom URC derby duel between the DHL Stormers and Sharks in Cape Town on Saturday.
Manie Libbok converted Du Plessis’ 77th minute touchdown as the hosts overturned a five-point first-half deficit to beat the Sharks 24-20 at a sold-out Cape Town Stadium.
A Jordan Hendrikse penalty inside the closing minutes edged the Sharks back in front after his converted try levelled the score moments earlier, before Du Plessis’ heroics secured derby revenge for the Stormers following their loss in Durban at the end of November.
