Westville powered to victory over EG Jansen at the Kearsney Easter Festival on Saturday, while there were notable wins for Affies and Nelspruit in Johannesburg.
Egies had edged Kearsney 29-24 on Thursday while Westville hammered Framesby 31-0. Many expected this clash to be tightly fought, but the KZN school scored six tries in a one-sided 36-5 win, the first by fullback Zekhethelo Siyaya after just 30 seconds.

In other matches, flyhalf Joshua Kopp kicked a penalty after the final hooter as Glenwood held off a Milnerton fightback to secure a thrilling 37-34 win, Kearsney scored five tries to beat Dale 34-13 and DHS also crossed the line five times to outplay Monument 32-17.
On the first day of the KES Easter Rugby Festival, Affies scored seven tries in a 45-27 win against Noordheuwel, Jeppe beat Selborne 38-17 and KES edged Rondebosch 20-17.
At St John’s, SACS saw off Voortrekker Bethlehem 21-8, Graeme beat Pretoria Boys’ 25-10 and Nelspruit battled past Maritzburg College 22-13.
At St Stithians, Bishops were defeated 19-14 by England’s Hartpury College, Helpmekaar pipped Wynberg 18-17 and the hosts ended their festival with a 27-21 win against Michaelhouse.
