The Springboks rampaged to a comfortable victory over Argentina in Nelspruit to claim the Rugby Championship title in Eben Etzebeth’s 128th Test cap.
A brace from Aphelele Fassi, who also set up Cheslin Kolbe’s first-half try, and Pieter-Steph du Toit guided the Springboks to a bonus-point 48-7 win as the world champions won the Rugby Championship for the first time since 2019.
It also marked Etzebeth’s record-breaking 128th Test cap with a sensational performance.
