Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will face off in Match 6 of IPL 2025 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Wednesday, March 26. Both teams will be looking to recover from upsetting defeats in their previous matches.
RR, led by Riyan Parag, suffered a huge blow against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), losing by 44 runs. In spite of scoring a good 242 runs, they failed to chase the enormous target of 287. On the other hand, KKR, led by Ajinkya Rahane, lost their opening match as well, going down by seven wickets to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The failure of KKR to defend 174 runs has sparked a debate about their bowling strategy.

The Royals have a slight advantage in recent meetings, as they have won four out of six recent meetings. This is their first meeting in Guwahati, where RR have won only one out of three past matches.
