Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) batter Nicholas Pooran has continued his golden form with the bat in the ongoing IPL 2025 game against Gujarat Titans. The game between the two teams is taking place at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
Nicholas Pooran, who has been going through the purple patch in the ongoing IPL 2025, came up with another brutal hand in the ongoing game against Gujarat Titans. Walking out to bat at three, he went after the opposition bowlers right from the start and put pressure on them straightaway.

Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram hit Sai Kishore for 24 runs in one over
Nicholas Pooran didn’t spare a single bowler from the Gujarat Titans and it was amazing to see the way he attacked their premier bowler Sai Kishore along with Aiden Markram. The left-arm spinner was introduced into the attack in the 10th over and he had a forgettable start to his spell.
Nicholas Pooran started the over with a massive six as he delivered the wide wide-off from over the wicket. The Lucknow Super Giants batter took a nice look and belted the pull over mid-wicket to put the bowler under pressure on the first ball itself.
Nicholas Pooran then took a single on the second ball before Aiden Markram produced a boundary on the third ball. The spinner bowled an overpitched delivery full on the stumps. The batter drilled the lofted drive past the ump for four and then, after that, took a single on the fourth ball.
On the 5th ball of the over, Sai Kishore went round the wicket and tried to bowl wide of the off stump. However, it didn’t matter as Nicholas Pooran smashed it high and handsome over deep mid-wicket to hit the second six of the over.
Nicholas Pooran then made sure that he finished the over on high as he hit another massive six on the last ball. Sai Kishore tossed up the ball as he tried to deceive the batter in flight, but it hardly made a difference to the Lucknow Super Giants batter.
Nicholas Pooran smartly made the adjustment to delay the bat swing a wee bit and it disappeared over long-on. He, along with Aiden Markram, made sure that they managed 24 runs off the one over, taking command of the game.
