Siraj and Head, who had a heated clash during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, were seen hugging each other ahead of the commencement of play in Hyderabad.
As Head was passing by Siraj, he stopped and had a small chat with the pacer, and the duo were seen smiling while sharing a warm hug.
Meanwhile, Siraj opened the bowling for GT as Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma opened the innings for SRH. The battle between the duo started on the second ball itself as Head hit a four off pacer’s delivery.
Siraj responded with a yorker on the third ball but Head again hit a boundary on the fourth ball of the over. The 5th ball of the over was a dot and on the final delivery, Siraj picked up the big wicket of Head.
The right-arm pacer bowled a length ball around middle and leg-stump and Head went for a flick toward mid-wicket where Sai Sudharsan pulled off a sharp low catch. Siraj was absolutely pumped up removing Head for 5-ball, but he refrained from doing any aggressive celebration.
