Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) batter Nicholas Pooran had a terrific outing with the bat in the game against Delhi Capitals (DC). The IPL 2025 encounter between the teams is taking place at the Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
Nicholas Pooran was at his attacking best against Delhi Capitals and made sure that he starts the IPL 2025 on high. The keeper-batter went hard after the bowlers right from the word go and put the Axar Patel-led side under massive pressure, slamming bowlers all over the park.

Nicholas Pooran, who walked out at the three, changed the course of the game during his stay at the crease. He put Lucknow Super Giants in the driver’s seat and made sure that his team got quick-fire runs, taking them past 150 runs with ease.
With the way Nicholas Pooran was batting, it needed something special to remove him and Delhi Capitals pacer Mitchell Starc came up with exactly that. The Australia National Cricket Team pacer, who was taken for runs, came up with a sensational delivery to which the batter had no clue.
Mitchell Starc bowled a full delivery and extracted some reverse-swing. The ball bent back in late as Nicholas Pooran attempted to hit a big six. He missed the ball completely and two stumps were splayed as the batter had to take the long walk back.
