Manchester City are already in talks over an exit for a fiery player ahead of the 2025/26 season, and he has been spotted abroad close to a club’s training ground.
Potential Man City exits this summer
After a number of incomings in the January transfer window, the summer market could see a handful of Man City stars depart the Etihad.

It could be another busy summer at the Etihad.
Pep Guardiola’s side are set to see their run of four successive Premier League titles come to an end, and the summer could also be the end of Kevin de Bruyne’s Man City career. The Belgian is out of contract in a few months and has reportedly been in talks with MLS side San Diego FC.
Meanwhile, there have been claims that Bernardo Silva has agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain, whereas Mateo Kovacic is of interest to Atletico Madrid and that Man City are willing to sell for around £25m.

The Sky Blues appear to be looking to the future with the signings they made in the winter window, and by the looks of it, a future Etihad star could already have a move lined up ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Man City in talks with Lazio over Claudio Echeverri loan
Another player who could be on the move over the coming months is teenager Claudio Echeverri. Signed from River Plate in January 2024, Echeverri remained with his former side on loan and, in total, has made 48 senior appearances for River Plate, contributing to 12 goals.
Echeverri is yet to make his senior Man City debut, and, according to reports in Italy, relayed by Sport Witness, City are in talks with Lazio over a loan move for Echeverri next season.
It is added that the attacking midfielder was in at a restaurant that is very close to Lazio’s Formello training centre recently, with negotiations underway over a temporary transfer for the 2025/26 season.
The 19-year-old has already been praised by some huge names in the footballing world, including former Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez, who said: “Echeverri is a talent, beyond the three goals against Brazil [for Argentina’s U-17 side], he is a differential footballer but this is the scouting area that is involved.”
Meanwhile, Angel Di Maria previously said: “You can see he’s got some fire in him, we definitely watched him. He’s got a lot to give. We’ve already been seeing it. It’s nice that the coaching staff gives these types of opportunities to the little ones to be able to enjoy with the older ones in this beautiful moment that we are living in.”
Echeverri himself believes he can have a special connection at the Etihad. “Yes, I think so. Especially because of the players who have come here and done really well – Aguero, Alvarez, Zabaleta. They are all very important players who have played here.”
However, by the looks of things, the Argentine, on £780,000-a-year, could be on loan at Lazio, who are still fighting for the Europa League title under Marco Baroni.
