Ireland fly-half Jack Crowley has ended months of speculation by signing a new contract that will keep him at Munster until at least 2027.
Crowley, whose drop-goal helped secure Munster’s passage to this weekend’s Investec Champions Cup quarter-finals, has made 65 appearances for the province since making his debut during the 2020/21 season.
He has also won 24 Ireland caps and featured at the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France, however, having slipped down the pecking order for his country the 25-year-old had been linked with a big-money move to England.

Gallagher Premiership club Leicester Tigers had reportedly offered Crowley £600,000 a year to replace the departing Handre Pollard at Welford Road but he has instead decided to stay in Ireland.
Crowley, who helped Munster to the 2022/23 United Rugby Championship title, has played 11 games for the province so far this season and has won back-to-back Player of the Match awards in way victories against Connacht and La Rochelle over the last fortnight.
Munster take on Bordeaux-Begles in the Champions Cup quarter-finals on Saturday and will hope to secure a second away win in as many weeks on France’s west coast.
