Jasmin, who rose to fame with the British reality TV series “The Only Way Is Essex” (TOWIE) in 2010, gained further popularity in India with her hit song “Bom Diggy” alongside Zack Knight in 2017. Born to Indian-origin parents, she has always shared a strong connection with Indian culture, making her a well-recognized figure among cricket fans in the country.
Speculations about her relationship with Hardik Pandya began when both of them shared similar vacation pictures from Greece shortly after Hardik’s divorce from Natasa Stankovic in July last year. While neither of them has officially confirmed the relationship, their social media interactions and Jasmin’s frequent appearances at cricket stadiums have only added to the buzz.
Ahead of the final, fans had even taken to social media, requesting Jasmin to come and support Hardik and Team India. Her presence in Dubai for the Champions Trophy final has now intensified those speculations.

India’s spinners dominate as New Zealand struggle to 251 in the final
While India’s streak of bad luck at the toss continued, with Rohit Sharma losing his 15th consecutive ODI toss, the Men in Blue did not let it affect their dominant performance on the field. New Zealand opted to bat first, and despite a promising start, India’s spinners quickly turned the game in their favour.
New Zealand’s innings saw flashes of brilliance, but India’s disciplined bowling attack kept them in check, restricting them to a modest 251. The pitch at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium offered assistance to the spinners, and India’s quartet of Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja ensured that New Zealand never got away with a big total.
Daryl Mitchell (63 off 101 balls) played a gritty knock, trying to anchor the innings after New Zealand’s aggressive start in the powerplay. However, wickets fell at regular intervals, preventing New Zealand from capitalizing on the platform they had built.
The standout moment came when Kuldeep produced a dream delivery to dismiss Rachin Ravindra for 37. His googly completely deceived the young left-hander, rattling the stumps and shifting the momentum in India’s favor. Anushka Sharma, present in the stands, was seen celebrating animatedly as the Indian camp erupted with joy.
New Zealand’s innings had a solid start, reaching 57/0 inside 8 overs, but once the spinners came into play, their momentum was disrupted. Captain Kane Williamson (11 off 14) tried to rebuild the innings but was dismissed in an unfortunate manner, caught and bowled by Kuldeep, who was in outstanding rhythm.
Despite the strong performance from India’s bowlers, it was a forgettable outing for Hardik with the ball. The all-rounder struggled to find his rhythm, conceding 30 runs in just 3 overs at a worrying economy rate of 10.00. The New Zealand batters took full advantage of his wayward lines, dispatching him to all parts of the ground.
