Manchester United survived a scare to beat Bodo/Glimt 3-2 at Old Trafford.

How it happened
The hosts made a dream start, taking the lead within the first minute.
Alejandro Garnacho capitalised on a goalkeeping error from Nikita Haikin, who failed to clear his lines under pressure from Rasmus Hojlund.
Garnacho’s composed finish marked the fastest goal in this season’s Europa League, timed at just 48 seconds.
However, Bodo/Glimt stunned the home crowd with a swift response.
Hakon Evjen’s spectacular long-range strike into the top corner brought the visitors level in the 19th minute.
Just four minutes later, Philip Zinckernagel raced past a static United defense to slot home Patrick Berg’s incisive pass, completing a remarkable turnaround.

United’s reply came just before half-time.
Noussair Mazraoui’s perfectly weighted cross found Hojlund, who controlled and finished brilliantly to restore parity.
The teams headed into the break at 2-2, with both defences exposed and the outcome hanging in the balance.
After half-time, United dominated possession, with an eye-catching 81% share at one point.
Their persistence paid off in the 50th minute when Manuel Ugarte’s clever cutback was met by Hojlund, who slid in to score his second goal of the night.
The VAR review confirmed there was no offside, allowing Old Trafford to erupt in celebration.

Despite United’s growing control, they squandered chances to extend their lead.
Garnacho missed a gilt-edged opportunity, firing over the bar from close range, while substitute Amad Diallo had a powerful effort parried away by Haikin.
Marcus Rashford’s decision-making in the final third also left fans frustrated as Bodo/Glimt pushed for an equaliser.
The visitors came close to levelling in the dying moments.
In added time, Patrick Berg’s dipping free-kick was acrobatically punched away by United goalkeeper Andre Onana, who had earlier been booked for time-wasting. Onana’s heroics ensured United held on for a vital victory.
