In the Champions Cup, the DHL Stormers stunned defending champs La Rochelle at Cape Town Stadium with a magical conversion from Manie Libbok.

The Vodacom Bulls steamrolled three-time champions Saracens in the opening round of last year’s competition at Loftus Versfeld.

Jordan Hendrikse’s 23 points from the tee inspired the Lions to a 28-12 win against Perpignan at the Stade Aime Giral.

The Cheetahs scored three tries at the Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi to secure a 33-15 win against Zebre Parma in round 1 of the Challenge Cup.
