Skipper Kolisi dotted down either side of the break as John Plumtree’s men dug deep to deny a late comeback from the Lions in a 25-22 bonus-point victory at Kings Park.

The No 8 powered over for the opening try, latching onto a short ball near the line. He struck again early in the second half, breaking through midfield after a sharp offload from Jaden Hendrikse.

With the Lions fighting back, fellow loose forward Hatton made a crucial impact oof the bench, diving over from close range to keep the Sharks in control. Despite Yaw Penxe’s late yellow card, the Sharks held firm, with Hendrikse’s clutch penalty sealing the win.
