Duncan Munn is intent on challenging some of Scotland’s top centres after being rewarded with a new contract by Glasgow.
The 21-year-old, who joined the club’s academy in January 2022, has signed his first professional deal with the Warriors after making five appearances, including three starts earlier this year.
“Having such a good group of centres here to learn from is class, too. Being able to train with and against guys like Sione Tuipulotu, Huw Jones, Stafford McDowall and TJ (Tom Jordan) every day is unreal, and they’re good blokes too that are always happy to talk to you and help you develop,” Munn told Warriors’ website as his contract was announced.
“I just want to get myself in the best physical shape so I can put my hand up to be involved. I want to keep pushing to get better and to get as many minutes as I can in a Glasgow jersey.”
Head coach Franco Smith added: “Duncan is a model example of a young professional who is keen to learn from those around him and develop into the best possible version of himself.
“He has a great amount of potential and we look forward to continuing to work with him over the coming seasons.”
