
The England Women’s National Cricket Team has been fined 10% of their match fees for maintaining a slow over rate during the first T20I against the India Women’s National Cricket Team at Nottingham on Saturday, June 28. The ICC slapped England Women with a fine on Sunday, June 29.
The ICC has confirmed that England was found two overs short of the required number even after considering time allowances. The sanction was confirmed by match referee Helen Pack.

As per ICC rules, teams are fined 5% of their match fee for each over short. Match officials Jacqueline Williams, James Middlebrook, Sue Redfern, and Anna Harris have leveled the charge against England Women, and skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt accepted the penalty.
