England tour of India 2025 Schedule

The T20I series will kick off on January 22, 2025, at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, followed by matches in Chennai, Rajkot, Pune, and Mumbai. The complete schedule for the T20I series is as follows:

  • 1st T20I: January 22, Eden Gardens, Kolkata
  • 2nd T20I: January 25, MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai
  • 3rd T20I: January 28, Niranjan Shah Stadium, Rajkot

Following the T20I series, England will engage in a three-match ODI series starting on February 6, which will serve as crucial preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 scheduled to take place in Pakistan.

This tour marks an important opportunity for England to build momentum after a challenging T20 World Cup campaign earlier this year. With Buttler at the helm, the team aims to establish a balanced side capable of competing effectively on subcontinental pitches. The absence of all-rounder Ben Stokes, who is recovering from a hamstring injury sustained during the recent Test series against New Zealand, is a notable setback for the team.
