Delhi Capitals (DC) will lock horns against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 32nd match of IPL 2025 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Delhi Capitals would like to carry the winning momentum that the Axar Patel-led side has in the upcoming home game against RR.
RR, on the other hand, will look to put on an improved performance in the match against the Delhi Capitals.

Openers: Jake Fraser-McGurk, Abishek Porel
Abhishek Porel, who opened the innings for DC in the last match, is expected to do the same with Jake Fraser-McGurk. The left-handed batter will look to continue the good form that he showed against MI and hopes to get a big score.
Jake Fraser-McGurk will partner with Abhishek Porel at the top of the order for DC. The Australian opener will look to get some runs under his belt after failing to make a significant contribution in the tournament so far.

Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Karun Nair, Tristan Stubbs, Axar Patel (c), KL Rahul (wk), Ashutosh Sharma
As far as DC’s middle-order batting is concerned, the responsibility rests on the shoulders of in-form batters like Karun Nair, KL Rahul, and Tristan Stubbs, who will get good support from Axar Patel and Ashutosh Sharma. DC batters failed to take the team home against MI and would like to rectify that.
All eyes will again be on Karun Nair, who played a sublime knock of 89 runs off 47 balls on his return to the league after 2022 to lay the platform for the fifth consecutive win for the DC, only to see some reckless batting in the final five overs.
Axar Patel, who has received praise for his captaincy in the tournament thus far, will look to continue the good work he has done while leading the Delhi Capitals in the match against RR.
The left-arm spinner will be itching to put on a strong show with both bat and ball after falling short while chasing against the Mumbai Indians.

Bowlers: Kuldeep Yadav, Vipraj Nigam, Mitchell Starc, Mohit Sharma, Mukesh Kumar
Delhi Capitals have a good mix of young and experienced bowlers at their disposal, with the likes of Mitchell Starc, Mukesh Kumar, and Mohit Sharma, all of whom have done a fine job with the ball by restricting the opposition to a below-par total.
Starc, who has been lethal with the new ball in the powerplay, has looked off-colour in the last couple of matches against RCB and MI, respectively. The left-arm pacer will be raring to go at full tilt in the upcoming match against RR and will play a crucial role against a top-heavy batting lineup.
Mukesh Kumar and Mohit Sharma have picked up crucial wickets while bowling in the powerplay and in the middle overs, respectively, and are expected to carry the good work in Delhi Capitals’ second match in Delhi.
As far as the spin bowling department of the Delhi Capitals is concerned, it has been taken care of by captain Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, and Vipraj Nigam. Spin trio has choked the opposition’s scoring rate with their accurate bowling and has outfoxed the batters with their variations.
