Christchurch’s 30,000-seat capacity One New Zealand Stadium is on track to open in April 2026.
It will become the new home of the Crusaders, who will leave Apollo Projects Stadium (Rugby League Park), which they have used since Lancaster Park was damaged in a 2011 earthquake.

“To have this [the stadium] at the end of the rainbow if you like, it’s just a real joy for the city,” said Crusaders head coach Rob Penney.
