Match Preview
Heidenheim and Chelsea – two teams with 100 per cent records in this season’s Conference League – clash in Germany tomorrow night.
Enzo Maresca’s men top the table on goal difference following their 8-0 thrashing of Noah last time out – a game in which Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku both scored twice – while Heidenheim sit sixth.
Chelsea are also performing well domestically with Saturday’s 2-1 win at Leicester City keeping them third and, potentially, in a title race.
Heidenheim don’t have such lofty ambitions in Germany.
They have won just one of their last nine Bundesliga games and slipped to 15th after Saturday’s 5-2 defeat at champions Bayer Leverkusen.
They have fared better in Europe, enjoying wins over Olimpija, Pafos and Hearts.
