Match Preview for Chelsea v FC Copenhagen
Chelsea have looked a class apart in the Conference League this season and should complete the job against FC Copenhagen tomorrow night to advance to the quarter-finals of Europe’s third-tier competition.
The depth of Enzo Maresca’s squad has given them a sizeable advantage over the rest of the competition with the first few matches in the group phase seeing the Italian making wholesale changes to his starting XI and it making little difference to the outcome.
The team for the away game in Denmark, which Chelsea won 2-1, was a mix of regulars and those on the fringe, the likes of Cole Palmer and Moises Caicedo lining up alongside Tyrique George and Shumaira Mheuka.
Maresca rotated again for Sunday’s 1-0 win over Leicester.
Copenhagen are second in the Super Liga but not in great form.
Either side of the defeat to Chelsea, they have drawn with AaB and Sonderjyske to relinquish top spot to Midtjylland.

Team News for Chelsea v FC Copenhagen
Gabriel Pereira’s late goal in Copenhagen last week took the shine off the night for Chelsea and meant the tie is still alive. That means Maresca may go stronger than he wanted with more first-teamers involved.
Palmer certainly needs a morale-boosting performance after taking his run of games without a goal to nine at the weekend after missing a penalty against Leicester.
Thomas Delaney is doubtful due to an illness while Marcos Lopez is suspended.
