
UCT winger Ntokozo Makhaza has put pen to paper on a deal to join the Cheetahs from the 2025 Currie Cup season.
Born in Bethlehem in the Free State, Makhaza was named the Varsity Cup Player of the Year and Backline Player of the Year after his key role in the Ikeys’ title win against Maties on Monday.

The 23-year-old, who notched 32 points at Danie Craven Stadium to take his season tally to 155, is the all-time leading points scorer in the competition.
It marks the second consecutive year that Makhaza was crowned Player of the Year, and his third consecutive appearance in the final.
