The Cheetahs welcome back a key loose forward for the SA Cup match against the Valke in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
No 8 Jeandre Rudolph has recovered from a knee injury against the Pumas in Nelspruit that ruled him out of his side’s next three matches against Eastern Province, the Griffons and SWD Eagles.
The Cheetahs scored 13 tries in their 87-15 thrashing of the Eagles at Free State Stadium on 12 April to move to third on the SA Cup log. They are eight log points behind Griquas and the Pumas, and two ahead of Boland, the Griffons and Valke.

Only the top four teams on the log qualify for this year’s Currie Cup Premier Division.
Cheetahs coach Frans Steyn told Netwerk24 he was pleased with his team’s last performance.
“I think it’s the first time we’ve played as a team – we’ve played for each other and with each other.
“When you think of Free State rugby, in my mind it was the rugby we played in the second half.”
