Alexis Mac Allister’s father has dismissed speculation linking his son with Real Madrid and hinted he will honour his contract at Liverpool.
Madrid have looked lightweight in midfield this season with Federico Valverde having to cover in defence, Luka Modric now 39 years of age and Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni failing to show they are up to the required level.
That has seen a number of players linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, including Mac Allister, who has played an integral role in Liverpool moving to the brink of the Premier League title.

No go says Colo
The player’s father Colo, who also acts as his agent, says the reports are wide of the mark, however, and that Alexis is happy at Anfield.
He told winwin: “There is nothing to comment on. Alexis is very happy at Liverpool. He hopes to win the Premier League title this season, and then enjoy the holiday he didn’t get last year.
“It is important that we respect the club he plays for, so any comments on our part would be irrelevant.”
Mac Allister has become an Anfield star under Arne Slot
Mac Alister joined Liverpool from Brighton in June 2023 and quickly became a key member of the squad under Jurgen Klopp, but he has flourished this season under Arne Slot and looks set to be rewarded with Liverpool 13 points clear at the Premier League summit with just six games to go.
Colo added: “Alexis is tied to a contract with Liverpool until 2028, and he is happy at the club. We hope he will continue there.”
