The British & Irish Lions’ woes at fullback continue after Scotland No 15 Blair Kinghorn limped off the field early in the first half against the Brumbies in Canberra.
The Lions recorded their fourth successive win on tour, scoring five tries to beat the Brumbies 36-24 at the GIO Stadium and will now brace for probably their toughest test so far as a Kiwi-Aussie XV lie in wait on Saturday.
But coach Andy Farrell would’ve had his head in his hands when Kinghorn limped off.

The 28-year-old was a late addition to the squad due to commitments with French champions Toulouse, but he was expected to fight for a starting spot for the first Test against the Wallabies after Elliot Daly was ruled out of the tour with a broken arm.
This now just leaves Ireland’s Hugo Keenan as the only recognised fullback in the squad, with England’s Marcus Smith able to slot in there as well. But Farrell selected Smith primarily as a flyhalf option for this tour.
Kinghorn was spotted limping heavily after an awkward landing early in the match and appeared to be in visible discomfort before eventually being withdrawn after just 25 minutes.
Smith then played the rest of the match at fullback.
Kinghorn had only recently returned to full fitness following a knee injury, but this latest setback now casts serious doubt over his involvement in the Test Series against the Wallabies.
