Bayern Munich and Flamengo go head-to-head in the Miami heat for a place in the Club World Cup quarter-finals.
The Bundesliga champions finished second in Group C following defeat to Benfica in the last round of group games, while Flamengo progressed as Group D winners after an impressive 3-1 victory over Chelsea.
Vincent Kompany’s men may well start the game as slight favourites but they are likely to more than meet their match in the team currently leading Brazil’s top flight.
Former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid full-back Filipe Luis’ side have lost just one of their last 18 games in league and cup and are one of several South American clubs to have shown their quality at this summer’s competition.
Both bosses adopt a similar playing style, making this a fascinating encounter at the Hard Rock Stadium.
