The Stormers have extended the contract of twinkle-toed centre Wandisile Simelane for another season.
The team confirmed the news via their social media – shortly after announcing the retention of loose forward Ben-Jason Dixon until at least 2027.

Simelane has been sparsely used by coach John Dobson since making the move from the Bulls midway through last season’s URC campaign, but when he has played, he’s done well.
He forms part of a quality midfield contingent in Cape Town that includes Dan du Plessis, Ruhan Nel, Damian Willemse and the hugely promising Jonathan Roche.
Dobson feels Simelane has grown as a player and expects him to become even more lethal when the new season gets under way.
“Wandi has got incredible natural talent which has marked him as a dangerous player from a young age. What we have been particularly impressed with is his willingness to learn and develop his game.
“He has an incredibly high ceiling and we are looking forward to seeing what he can do and add to our team going forward,” he said.
