South African Rob Herring is among a host of injured Ulster stars unlikely to face the Sharks in Saturday night’s Vodacom URC clash at Kingspan Stadium.
The SA-born Ireland hooker is battling a calf injury, while centre Stuart McCloskey (groin), scrumhalf John Cooney (knee) and prop Callum Reid (ankle) are also doubtful to play.

Incisive fullback Michael Lowry and centre Stewart Moore, who scored a try against each of the Bulls and Stormers earlier this season, will miss the match due to concussion following a round 15 defeat at log-leaders Leinster.
The fourth-placed Sharks, who edged Edinburgh in the Scottish capital last week, are eyeing a first win in Belfast.
John Plumtree’s men can cement their playoff position with three rounds left of the league stages by beating the Ulstermen, who are six spots back on the log.
