Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca says his side are still targeting a top-four finish this season despite their recent rocky form.
Maresca’s side were in sparkling touch at the start of the season, with the former Leicester manager keen to downplay any talk of a title challenge.
Chelsea have since lost four of their past eight games and head to Aston Villa on Saturday in sixth spot.
Maresca said: “We spent almost the whole season in the top four and with 13 games to go, the target, for sure, is top four.

“We will try our best to achieve that. Knowing the difficult moment we have now, with five or six significant players out.
“I’m here to win games and bring this club fighting for titles. The problem is when you win games, you look humble and when you don’t win games, you look like a lack of ambition.
“My intention is to bring this club where it needs to be.”
Maresca was backed by the club’s owners this week and remains confident of turning things around.
Victory at Villa Park, where Chelsea have won on 13 occasions in the Premier League, would be a good start.
Maresca said: “It’s nice to hear, I really appreciate it, the relationship with the club. They always support me. The sporting directors, the owners, all of the club.”
