The Sharks bid farewell to two players who have provided depth in key positions for the Durban outfit.
Scrumhalf Cameron Wright (30) leaves after a long association with the Sharks, having first represented KwaZulu-Natal at age-group level before making his Currie Cup debut in 2014.
The Westville Boys High and Hilton College alum also spent two seasons in France with Montpellier from 2015 to 2017 before returning to Durban, where he became a seasoned campaigner and won the 2023-24 EPCR Challenge Cup as a substitute.
Prop Braam Reyneke departs after coming through the ranks at Paarl Boys’ High and breaking into the Sharks senior side in 2022.
Able to play on both sides of the scrum, the 22-year-old made his Currie Cup bow against the Vodacom Bulls in 2022 and featured in the Sharks setup over the past two seasons.
