Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey announced today that the team has signed David Roddy to a two-way contract.
Roddy originally signed a 10-day contract with the 76ers on Feb. 11, appearing in yesterday’s game against Boston in which he scored four points and collected five rebounds in 13 minutes.
This season, he has appeared in 28 games (three starts) for Atlanta and Philadelphia, averaging 4.5 points on 46.0-percent shooting, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.1 assists. He produced a season-high 17 points (5-10 FG) on Oct. 30 at Washington, one of his five games scoring in double figures this season.
Across his three NBA seasons, Roddy has appeared in 163 games (20 starts) with Memphis, Phoenix, Atlanta, and Philadelphia, posting career averages of 6.2 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.
Roddy was originally selected by Philadelphia with the No. 23 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft before his draft rights were acquired by Memphis.
